To help kickoff the holidays and support those in need, Fire Mountain Software donated 50,000 meals to Feeding America on GivingTuesday 2021.
“We made a generous donation on behalf of our customers this year. We’ve done gift baskets and things like that in the past which always feels good, but being able to make a difference in people’s lives like this feels great,” said Steve Taylor, President of Fire Mountain Software.
Feeding America is a US-based nonprofit organization with a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other community-based agencies.
#GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States, is a global generosity movement empowering people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Started in 2012, it is a day that encourages people to do good – being generous with their time, resources, and good will.
